Terms and Conditions of Sale

Lead Times

Products that require specific parts to be made to order such as mounting brackets for linear swing gate motors and solar/low voltage power options for gate motors typically take a week or two otherwise take a few days to be delivered.

Products that are to be custom made such as gates, infill panels and fencing normally take two weeks or more to fabricate.

If products are to be installed then another week is typically added to the time before the installation is started unless a specific installation time is agreed to by the installer and purchaser. Installion finish times depend on the size and complexity of the installation and factors out of the control of the installer such as weather conditions and any reliance on third party suppliers such as powder coaters or third party installers affiliated with the purchaser that may be involved in part of the installation.

All lead times given on promotional material is an estimate only.

Payment

Products ordered on a 'Supply Only' basis that aren't being custom made require full payment before delivery.

Any Products ordered that are to be custom made or installed require a 50% deposit to secure the order and balance of payment due before delivery or when installation is complete.

Any products not paid for in fill remain the property of the supplier.

Installations

All reasonable amount of care will be taken with the end users property when installation works are being carried out by Grants Automation or any third party supplier affilitated with Grant's Automation from hereon in will be called the "supplier", but no liability, within reason, will be accepted for any damage to said property that may occurr during installation works or any time after works are completed.

Installation quotations are valid for a period of one month from the date given unless specified otherwise or a 50% deposit is received as comfirmation of the quotation. Once a quotion period has expired pricing may vary without notification.

Quotations for Sliding gates do not include ground works such as concrete footings for gate track or motors unless specified.

Quotations for Gate Motors don't include cabling unless specified.

Warranty

For all products sold by the supplier a 2 Year Warranty is offered for any defect in manufacturing or installation work carried out if the product is also installed by the supplier that causes the product to fail or not work as specified in the supplied Installation Manual or promotional material.

Should said fault occur the product should be returned to the supplier for repair or at the discretion of the supplier be replaced at no charge under the following conditions:

1. Proof of purchase is required ie. Invoice or purchase details recorded by the supplier.
2. For Products that are installed it is the installers liability including the purchaser if they installed the product themsleves to rectifiy any incorrect installation proceedure that may have caused said fault or return the product to the supplier for repair/replacement as necessary and return the product to site.
3. If a product is to be installed by the purchaser and is not installed immediately after purchase the Warranty may be extended up to a maximum of 2 years after the date installed at the discretion of the supplier.
4. If a product requires servicing at regular intervals this is the liability of the purchaser unless other arrangments are made with the supplier.
5. The product must not have been used for any purpose other than that it was intended for.
6. The product must not have been tampered with or modified by any party not authorized by the supplier.
7. The product must not have been damaged or effected by any malicious act, accident, animal infestation or effects caused by adverse weather conditions such as Flooding, Fire, Wind or Earthquake
8. The product must not have been exposed to an environment that is harmful to it such as being used outdoors if not rated so, being exposed to unreasonable amounts of heat, dust, dirt, harsh chemicals, moisture, vibration or physical pressure.
9. The product must not have been effected by affiliated structures changing beyond the control of the supplier such as timber posts deforming or ground movement caused by subsidence or foliage growth.
10. A reasonable amount of care with handling or using the product has been taken.
