A highly sensitive and stable stand alone single channel receiver that can be fitted to a garage door motor or other device inside or out such as any brand of gate motor so it will work with a Centsys NOVA remote control.

Comes in a tough weather proof enclosure that can be placed outdoors high up for optimum range. 

Hopping Code Secure 

NOVA transmitters and receivers offer code-hopping technology, meaning that each code that is transmitted is totally and randomly different to the last code transmitted. This prevents unwanted copying or cloning of the remote itself, and helps keep your home and belongings safe.

Learning Remote Controls

Remote controls transmit a unique digital code every time a button is pressed and the receiver must learn this code and add it to its memory before it will work.  The first remote control must be added with the 'lid off the box' but every other can be added with the lid on using the first remote control to activate learn mode, which basically means if you need another remote control at a later date you can buy one, have it mailed to you and you can easily add it yourself using any valid working remote controls you already have, with out having to unscrew any lids off boxes, you just need to be within working range of the receiver unit when you do it. 

A total of 62 remote controls can be added to one single channel receiver. Remote controls can be made so they can't be used to add new ones if you want, as a security feature, just in case some one works out how to do this with a remote control they have and you'd rather they didn't.  Remote controls can also be deleted from the receiver individually if you have the remote control with you other wise if its been lost or stolen you will need to delete all remote controls and re-program them.

If you need to add more than 62 remote controls you can choose the 2 or 4 channel receiver that can have up to 250 remote controls added although you will still need to delete all remote controls and re-program them if you want to delete one that has been lost or stolen.  With lots of remote controls its better to use a Centsys Super NOVA receiver that can have up to 1000 remote controls added that can be removed individually or in groups at any time even if lost or stolen.

Programmable Output

The relay output (works like a mechanical switch) can be programmed to latch on or off when ever the remote control button is pressed or hold on for a set time from a very short time or up to 4 minutes in 1 second increments.  When using a latched output the state of the latch will be remembered even if power is removed from the receiver.

How this receiver compares to others

As far as features go this receiver has it all with secure code hopping technology, sensitive narrow band receiver circuit with anti-interference filtering so you will get good reliable range.  The programmable output is also very useful not only for garage door and gate motors but also for general use such as switching lights on or off or for a pre-set time.  Being able to power this unit from 12V to 24V either AC or DC also is very handy making it easier to fit to devices such as garage doors or gate motors that have various different power outputs for add on devices such as this.

The only issue is there is no terminal for an external antenna although it is in a weather proof and UV stabilised tough ABS plastic enclosure so can be placed for optimum range. The ability to add more remote controls can also be disabled using the original remote control added so if someone can get into the receivers enclosure they can't use it to add their own remote control so the receiver remains secure.
