Japanese Quality Video Intercom with a surface mount vandal resistant die cast metal outdoor camera station with night light and illuminated labelled (optional) button that calls inside where an image of the visitor appears on a 7" colour touch screen monitor, an occupant may touch the screen to talk to the visitor like they're on a speaker phone or can use it like the old style press to talk - release to listen intercom. 

Operates Two Gates or Doors 

A button on the touch screen releases an electric lock on a pedestrian gate or front door. A second button can open an automatic driveway gate or garage door. 

Automatically Records Video

When ever a visitor calls video is automatically recorded onto built in memory for up to 10 seconds. Up to 10 videos can be recorded on the internal memory or the memory can be expanded with a plug in memory stick. 

Connecting to Smart Phones or Tablets

Calls can go to up to 8 Smart phones or Tablets that work the same as the Indoor monitor and if connected to the internet Smart Phones can be called anywhere in the world. WiFi is used to connect the monitor to a router and the router to the Smart phone but is not used to connect the outdoor station to the monitor this is hard wired so your calls will always be recorded even if the internet is down. Recordings can be viewed on the monitor or from a Smart Phone so you'll always know if some one visited even if you're out. 

Chime Volume Adjustment

The chime volume can be adjusted for the space its in or muted in case no-one wants to be disturbed. 

The lock Outputs 

The lock outputs from this intercom are on the monitor so an extra two wires are required from the monitor to each gate or door. The outputs maybe wired to activate an electric lock for a pedestrian gate requiring a separate power source to match the electric lock or can be directly connect to a gate or garage door operator. Power Requirements 

The Intercom comes with an 18V transformer that can either go next to the handset or away from the handset with a low voltage power cable run to it. The outdoor camera requires no power connected as its power is passed through the 2 wires between the Monitor and the Outdoor Camera along with everything else. 

Includes

1 x JO-DV Outdoor Camera + 1 x JO-1MDW Monitor + PS18 Power supply (transformer). The extension chime and electric lock are chosen separately.  

Wire Type Size verses Distance 

The wire between the Outdoor Camera and Indoor Monitor or between the monitor and extension chime should have 2 solid cores (not stranded), should not be a twisted pair and should have a weather proof polythene sheath. The size of the wire verses distance is:

0.65mm dia. to 50m - 0.8mm to 100m 

The wire between the Power Supply (transformer) and the Monitor should be the same as above but the size verse distances are:

0.65mm dia. to 5m - 0.8mm dai. to 10m.
