No-weld Slotted Framing - Mill Finish

Aluminium extrusions designed specifically for fabricating gates, infill panels, posts or fencing without welding that have slats or Colorbond sheeting fitted directly into the frame. Slats may be horizontal or vertical.

Is mill finish that is raw aluminium as it comes from the mill, which has distinctive draw lines from the extruding process if that's the raw metal look you're after. Mill finish Aluminium doesn't rust or degrade in the weather and because No-weld doesn't require welding the corners of gate frames retain the same clean finish right to the very edge NOT like welded gates where the corners must be ground back and sanded smooth leaving a different finish to the rest of the gate so don't look as nice left as a mill finish. Also if slats are used these must be tack welded into routed holes in the frame or riveted into small channels and also don't look as nice in mill finish.

This framing comes in two parts: a framing extrusion with an internal wall that framing brackets and cladding material such as slats can be screwed to and a cover extrusion that clips onto the open back face to cover these screws up, leaving a nice clean finish. There is a third extrusion available too that can be used to clip in the slot when not required or can be cut up into short lengths and used as spacers between slats.
