Non-Welded Aluminium Slat Gate, Screen and Fence Assembly

Introduction

Introduction Video about the first system we use for non-welded Slat Gates, Screens and Fences that are Powder Coated or Wood Look Aluminium. Covers the friction grip system and one where slats are fitted into a channel and screwed from the back with a cover fitted over the screws.

Sliding and Swing Driveway Gates

Video covering the assembly of a sliding gate with horizontal slats using the friction grip system. The same frame can be used with sliding gates with 65mm or 90mm vertical or horizontal slats with any gap that have a channel that is also screwed to the frame that the slats fit into and screwed on from the back, the screw have a clip on cover so they aren't seen. This same system can be used for swing gates too using a top and bottom rail without the guide rail or wheel channels and from swing and slide gate frames only with timber palings or slats, laser cut sheeting or colour bond sheeting.

Swing Gate With Horizontal 65mm Slats

Video covering the assembly of a Pedestrian Gate using 65mm slats with either a 9mm or 20mm gap. It uses a combination of slats that can be screwed to stiles that same as rails so in face become rails that look like stats. This system can be used for double swing gates too up to 2m wide per side.

Lock Boxes for Knob and Lever Sets

Video covering fitting a Lock Box for non-welded pedestrian gates with horizontal friction fit slats. The same lock box can be used for horizontal or vertical 65mm or 90mm slats with any gap too.

This video also covers how to fit knob and lever sets in general to any metal gate with a lock box made into the frame that could also be a pedestrian gate that is welded.

Lock Box for Dead Lock or Surface Mounted Electric Strike

Video covering the assembly of a non-welded friction fit horizontal slat gate with a lock box that is made for dead locks but can also be used for surface mounted electric strike locks too.

65mm or 90mm slats with any Gap

Video covering the assembly of a non-welded slat screen using channels that the slats fit to and are screwed into the channel from behind with the screw hidden with a clip on cover. This is the same system that is used with swing and sliding gates where slats maybe fitted horizontally or vertically.

Gate frames with Mitred Corners

Another system uses a different aluminium extrusion for the frame that has a channel built in for inserted the slats that are also screwed in from the back and have a cover clipped over to cover the screws or can be clipped into the slots for the slats if there aren't being used. This system has mitred corners with a corner bracket that has a tight friction fit into the extrusion and is glued in for added strength. This system can have any Colorbond or Powder coat colour or 35 different wood grain finishes. here is no lock box with this system but it can have a lever Mortice Lock fitted or Lokk Latch as illustrated.
