Can have a WiFi Outdoor Access Point added for wireless connection to home Router or 4G Gateway added for wireless connection to Smartphone App directly using 4G mobile phone network independent from home Internet ( both devices purchased separately). 

Can call up to 5 x Smart Phones with a free iOS or Android App from anywhere in the world there is mobile phone service and/or can call up to 10 x Indoor Monitors. Can be setup to call monitor, then if no answer call a 2nd, 3rd, 4th ... up to 10 monitors sequentually.

If no one answers callers can leave a video message (must be calling a monitor with SD card for this to work). 

Opens 1 or 2 automatic driveway gates or pedestrian gates with an electric lock from a built in Digital Keypad, RFID Tag reader, Smartphone, Tablet or Indoor monitor Note: for control of 2 gates or doors an expansion module is required purchased separately that connects to the RS485 terminals.

Has inputs for a Press to Exit Button.

Has input to indicate to the Smartphone App or Indoor Monitor that the gate is open or closed. Note: requires an electrical connection to gate motor/lock that has monitoring facilities or installation of position sensor for this to work.

Has a terminal for an additional Weigand Digital Keypad or RFID Tag Reader inside the gate.  

When call button is pressed a voice message lets visitor know what's going on.

Can use more than one Outdoor Station per residence (max. 20) in case there is more than one gate or door.

Outdoor Stations Camera can be viewed anytime from Smartphone, Tablet, Indoor Monitor or IP video surveillance system.

Power Requirements 12VDC

If wanting to run this device from Solar power it draws 230mA continuously so a 40Watt solar panel is needed with a 50Ah 12V Battery and 3A or larger solar charge controller.

Dimensions

This intercom is smaller than it looks in the photo, with a surface mounting box will fit neatly on a 100mm wide post. The Flush mounting option has a mounting plate the intercom fits into that is 130mm wide x 240mm high. See below for diagrams of the surface and flush mounting options. 

Rear Panel

1) Tamper switch - if device pried from wall sound an alarm and alarm is sent to Smartphone or Monitor. 

2) Reset button in a hole must put the blunt end of a needle in the hole and click button inside, hold for 6 seconds until beeps

3) RJ45 Ethernet Port connects to home Internet Router with a network cable, supports Standard 48V PoE

Inputs and Outputs on rear panel

Al terminals are flat multipin plugs with flying leads to be joined onto other cabling for 12V Power, alarm in and out, connection of a door lock or automatic gate motor, press to exit button and open indicator input. 

If powering up from a Gate motor or other 12VDC source there are red and black flying leads for 12V connection. The other leads are all white. Has one alarm input and output that can also be used to activate a light.

Has an input for press to exit button (unlock button) that operates the gate. Has a clean contact relay output the can be used to connect an automatic gate (NO and COM terminals) or an electric lock, the Power DC for the lock can be the same 12VDC that powers the Intercom or separate if using PoE to power the Intercom.. Note PoE power cannot be used to power an electric lock.

A magnetic lock that requires power to lock can be connected to the NC output and common. This too can be powered from the same 12V DC source as the Intercom or separate.

RS485 Port

You may be wondering what is an RS485 port and what is it used for?, well its basically a port for connecting expansion modules such as the one for adding the control of a second gate. The port has 12VDC power supply and two serial data lines allowing the expansion module to not only control a gate but also have a second press to exit button and open indicator input. 

Once again what is a Wiegand Port, well Wiegand is a bit like RS485 with 12VDC power supply a couple of serial data lines and an indicator light and is a standard commonly used in the access control industry for connecting devices such as digital keypads, RFID card or tag readers, finger print readers etc...  

The Wiegand port is for adding a second digital keypad or RFID Tag or Card Reader to the inside of the gate rather than a press to exit button for a higher level of security.

Surface Mounting

The surface mounting box is the same dimensions the intercom so can fit onto a 100mm wide post or wider or on a wall.

Flush Mounting

Flush mounting option requires a hole cut in a wall 121mm x 223mm and 33mm deep for the fitting of a flush mounting box that a mounting plate then screws to. The Intercom then fits inside the mounting plate making the intercom look larger once installed.
